Swimming near Los Banos Laguna - Pansol

Pansol, Laguna is the place to go for swimming during vacations.
The pool waters are warm and are said to be therapeutic.

There are so many private and public resorts to choose from.
Private resorts range anywhere from P5000 - P25000 depending on size and amenities

Some of the more popular public resorts are:

  • Southwinds (built 2013)
  • Sun City
  • Sol Y Viento (higher priced than the others, is really a hotel on top of a hill)- has an in-room natural spring jacuzzi hotel and has a Barrio Fiesta restaurant.
  • Montevista
  • Splash Mountain (this is located after Pansol)
  • Doña Jovita (this is located in Bagong Kalsada - after Pansol)

Private resorts are numerous along with the "pool agents".
You can even decide to come to Pansol and just choose once you arrive.

How to Go to Pansol? It's quite easy....

From Cubao: Ride a bus bound for Sta. Cruz Laguna. HM Liner station is across Baliwag station (just cross the overpass). Exact address is EDSA cor. Monte de Piedad St. Tell the conductor the name of the resort so that he can stop the bus for you. Fare is around P100.

You can also ride at the DLTB terminal near Kamias.

From LRT / Buendia: Ride a bus bound for Sta. Cruz Laguna. You have 2 choices: Green Star / Laguna Express, or DLTB bus. Fare is less than P90.

From Alabang:  Ride a bus bound for Sta. Cruz Laguna by South Station. Go down at Pansol.
You can also ride a bus bound for Calamba as these may be more common (than Sta. Cruz). Go down at Calamba terminal.
Hire a tricycle (special trip P50) to the resort of your choice.
Or ride a jeep bound for any of the following destinations - they will all pass through Pansol: San Pablo, Sta. Cruz, UP College. Remember to tell the driver your destination.
